The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus invites applications for a full-time Instructor - Optometrist located at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO. The role focuses on outpatient medical and perioperative ophthalmic care, visual acuity testing, refraction, and routine screening.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, management of ophthalmic disorders, pre and postoperative care for cataract and refractive surgery, and fitting of contact lenses and eyeglasses.

Formación

• Doctor of Optometry or equivalent degree required at hire.
• Residency in optometry completed preferred.
• Colorado medical license or eligibility required.

Responsabilidades

• Direct patient care at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO.
• Manage medical and perioperative ophthalmic disorders, perform routine eye screenings, visual acuity testing and refraction.
• Provide pre- and post-operative management for cataract and refractive surgery patients.
• Prescribe and fit contact lenses and eyeglasses.
