Job summary

V2X is seeking an Instructor, Operator, Maintainer II (CBTI) to deliver and manage CBTI-based training at Fort Benning, GA. The role includes planning, developing, and executing training products and scenarios, coordinating with SMEs, and supporting exercise events in classroom and simulation facilities.

The position requires expertise in CBT platforms, instructional design, and defense operations knowledge, with occasional travel for training events and adherence to security standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and develop training products, materials and scenarios.

• Load database enemy SAF entities and routes for selected training scenarios.
• Operate CBTI duty stations (CCTT AAR Suites, MCC, SAF workstations, IOS).
• Assist exercise planning, scenario development and SME support, including SOF scenarios.
• Provide SAF support operations to facilitate training exercises.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Provides instruction and operational services to plan, coordinate, and develop training products, materials, packages, scenario development, testing, and simulation role players
• Develop and update training materials in collaboration with training specialists and subject matter experts, ensuring content aligns with current doctrine, technology, and operational needs
• Shall ensure database enemy SAF entities, supporting SAF entities, and routes have been loaded for the selected training scenario
• CBTI duties include operators for CCTT AAR Suites, Master Control Console (MCC), SAF workstations, Instructor Operator Station (IOS) workstations
• CBTI’s provide training exercise support, including assisting exercise planning and scenario development (e.g., developing new, modifying existing, and testing exercise scenarios), including Special Operations Forces (SOF); providing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs); and replicating higher headquarters
• To facilitate training exercise support, the CBTI shall provide SAF support operations
• Courses are offered through Computer Based Training Instruction (CBTI), Field or Classroom environments
• Provide over‑the‑shoulder supportand subject matter expertise during exercises, drills, and multinational training events
• Assist Monitoring and evaluating student progress, using assessment tools and performance metrics to ensure training effectiveness
• Operate and integrate simulation toolsfor realistic training scenarios(AAR Suites, Master Control Console (MCC), SAF workstations, Instructor Operator Station (IOS) workstations

Qualifications

Required Experience

• Technical proficiencyin CBT platforms and simulation systems
• Instructional expertisein adult learning, curriculum design, and performance‑based training
• Subject matter knowledgein defense operations, systems, or applicable technical domains
• Ability to adapt trainingto varying learner needs and operational requirements
• Clear communicationand mentorship skills to guide trainees and foster discipline and teamwork

Work Environment

• May involveon‑site trainingin classrooms in simulation facilities
• Occasional travelfor training events or exercises
• Requires adherence tomilitary regulations, safety protocols, and data security standards
