Job summary

Jobtailor in Nevada is seeking a Nursing Faculty member to teach across online, in-class, labs, and clinicals. The role requires maintaining licensure, regular office hours, and active engagement in curriculum development.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s of Nursing or are enrolled in an MSN program, and possess an unencumbered NV RN license with a preference for CNE credential and teaching experience in nursing education.

Qualifications

Masters of Nursing degree (or enrolled in MSN) from regionally accredited college/university.
Un-encumbered NV RN License.
Ability to pass background checks, drug screens, and vaccinations/titers as required.
Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential (preferred).
Teaching experience as nursing faculty (preferred).
Ability to teach multiple nursing topics/subjects (preferred).
Experience with diverse-cultural student populations (preferred).
Grant writing (preferred).
Published within professional nursing journals (preferred).

Requirements

Master's of Nursing degree from a regionally accredited college or university or enrolled in Master’s of Nursing degree in a Nursing program from a regionally accredited college or university.
Un-encumbered NV RN License.
This position requires the ability to pass background checks, drug screens, and provide all vaccinations/titers as required by the nursing department and/or health care facilities.
Current Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential (preferred).
Previous teaching experience as a nursing faculty member (preferred).
Ability to teach multiple nursing topics/subjects (preferred).
Experience working with diverse-cultural student populations (preferred).
Grant writing (preferred).
Published within professional nursing journals (preferred).
