The Department of Orthopedics in the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Instructor - Limited Term, who will serve as a board‑certified physician for its prestigious one‑year spine fellow position at the Wellstar MCG / Augusta University Health Sciences campus in Augusta, GA.
The fellow will work under the supervision of fellowship‑trained faculty with more than 30 years of surgical experience and gain useful insight in various components of spine care including but not limited to spine surgery post and pre‑care and spine research.
This is a non‑tenure track position limited to one fiscal year, starting August 1, 2026, and ending July 31, 2027, with the potential to extend to a second year for highly qualified candidates based on external funding.
Position is full time (1.0 FTE) and works year‑round. Salary and compensation is commensurate with education, experience, and achievements, subject to availability of funds.
