The City of Carlsbad Learn Through Play Program is seeking a Part-Time Learn Through Play Instructor to lead classroom activities and guide Aides for children ages 3-5. The class is held at Kruger House Holiday Park, with schedule Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
This position offers a developmentally appropriate learning environment, opportunities to mentor aides, and hands-on activities across art, music, science, language and movement.
Position Summary

This position will teach a class that is held at Kruger House Holiday Park.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (approx. 15-20 hours/week).

Special Requirements
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
Must meet State of California TB requirements
Valid CA Driver\'s License (preferred)
Must attend required trainings and meetings
Must provide own transportation
Must attend required apparel
Must wear standard department-issued apparel
Physical Requirements
*Part-time employee cannot exceed 980 total hours worked within one fiscal year.
