Teaching faculty at Guilford Technical Community College areresponsible for supporting student success by creating an optimumlearning environment, responding to student needs, managingeffective instructional activities, modeling employability skills,demonstrating professionalism, developing cooperative workrelationships with other faculty and staff, supporting collegeadministrative requirements, and maintaining competency in theirinstructional field. He/she will be responsible for qualityinstruction and for effective participation and interest in thetotal affairs of the college.
Under general supervision, this individual will prepare and teachK12 Educator Prep courses designed for transfer and support ofcareer technical programs. The faculty member must be able toinstruct a wide variety of topics within the classroom, via Canvas,and manage concepts/resources in an online learning laboratoryenvironment. Candidates may be required to teach day, eveningand/or weekend hours.

Doctoral degree in Education from an institutionally accrediteduniversity
Post-secondary teaching experience in Education
The Instructor shall possess an understanding of and commitmentto the nature and role of the Community College, particularly its“open door” policy. He/she shall have demonstrated personal andprofessional competence for the responsibilities assigned. TheInstructor must be able to:
