Job summary

Wake Tech in North Carolina is seeking a Paramedic Instructor to provide effective instruction for assigned courses and laboratories. You will design curricula, monitor student progress, and help place graduates while maintaining required records and certifications.

The ideal candidate is credentialed as a North Carolina Paramedic or National Registry Paramedic with reciprocity, holds NC Level I Paramedic Instructor credentials, and has at least two years of post-secondary teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a North Carolina Paramedic or as a National Registry Paramedic with eligibility for reciprocity to obtain a North Carolina Paramedic credential
• Credentialed as a North CarolinaLevel I Paramedic Instructor or equivalent
• Two years of experience teaching in a post-secondary educational environment

Responsibilities

• Instructs and guides the class in an efficient and effective manner
• Maintains accurate records of student work and attendance

• Promotes continuous improvement by completing an annual applied benchmark project on an individual or a group basis
