Instructor, Education Enhancement Center and Testing Liaison
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field required.
- Oklahoma Teacher Certification or endorsement to teach is preferred but not required.
- Experience in customizing curriculum to individual learning styles preferred.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate superior interpersonal skills needed towork closely with other staff members in providing educational enhancement services through computerized integrated software in the following major markets: Meridian Technology Center (MTC) secondary and adult students, business and industry, and the general public.
- Provide quality educational enhancement through the appropriate development and instruction of enhanced coursework to improve workforce readiness.
- Assist in aligning curriculum to address the job skills needed for employment.
- Select and coordinate all center software and complete associated reporting which includes WorkKeys curriculum and testing and competency testing.
- Provide special learning assistance to specific students at the request of MTC instructors or administration.
- Coordinate the scheduling of classes in the educational enhancement center.
- Coordinate and conduct all WorkKeys assessments for MTC students.
- Be familiar with various requirements for testing: use of electronic devices, confidentiality requirements, special needs accommodations, environment, etc.
- Coordinate and conduct all Career Tech Student Organization (CTSO) competition testing.
- Coordinate and conduct all necessary program certification exams for MTC students as requested by their instructors.
- Maintain files on certification testing results and in Career Planning Center student files.
- Maintain and record all student WorkKeys testing scores in the student accounting system, and reports to the proper entities.
- Prepare all required reports and submit in a timely manner.
- Attend all staff meetings involving this position.
- Abide by all policies and procedures adopted by the MTC Board of Education and assist in implementing all policies and/or procedures governing client conduct.
- Assist with testing/assessment and interpretation of test results to students when necessary.
- Utilize assigned working hours (7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) efficiently and report to the Executive Director of Career Planning/Career Development any exceptions. Be available in the program to assist students by 7:40 a.m. and 12:35 p.m. daily as well as after scheduled class time. Work hours may vary based on testing schedule.

10-month position (August 1, 2026 - May 31, 2027)
Standards of Performance
The Instructor, Education Enhancement Center and Testing Liaison, will be evaluated on the previously listed responsibilities to determine satisfactory compliance. These evaluations will determine salary increases and career advancement possibilities.
