Job summary

ARSIEM Corporation in Pensacola, FL is seeking an Instructor to deliver Defensive Cyberspace Operations training to government personnel in a military-style setting, including lectures, labs and exercises.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent CO experience) and TS/SCI with polygraph. DoD 8570 Level II is desirable; you will develop curricula, assess learners and deliver instruction both synchronously and asynchronously.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree + 2 years of Cyberspace Operations (CO) experience.
  • CO experience includes Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) or Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO).
  • In lieu of a degree, 4 years of CO experience.
  • Experience in adult learning with instruction to large classes.
  • US Military instructor certification or designation is highly desirable.
  • Security certifications such as Security+, CEH or CISSP are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver CO training as CO Instructor for Defensive Cyberspace Operations in a military environment.
  • Develop CO training curriculum including lectures, labs, exams and simulations.
  • Provide classroom instruction, practical labs, study periods and tutoring for up to twenty students per class.
  • Incorporate technical knowledge into training delivery.
  • Assess student knowledge and proficiency in the topic.
  • Deliver instruction via synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.
  • Review and update training materials and curricula as needed.

ARSIEM is currently looking for an Instructor - Cyberspace Operations Defensive Cyberspace Operations to deliver Cyberspace Operations (CO) training . The position will support one of our Government clients in Pensacola, FL.

Responsibilities
  • Perform duties as CO Instructor for Defensive Cyberspace Operations by delivering highly technical training in a military environment consisting of lectures, labs, exercises and other delivery methods.
  • Assist with developing CO training curriculum (lecture content, student/instructor guides, exams, exercises, simulations, etc.).
  • Provide classroom instruction, conduct practical exercises in a laboratory environment, conduct student study hall periods, and provide tutoring/remedial instruction for up to twenty students per class.
  • Incorporate/impart technical knowledge into training delivery.
  • Assess student knowledge, skills and abilities to gauge student proficiency in the topic.
  • Deliver instruction via interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.
  • Review and analyze training materials and recommend changes.
  • DoDD 8140.01/DoD 8570.01-M Level II certifications are desired but not required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus two (2) years of experience in Cyberspace Operations (CO).
  • Experience in CO is defined as experience in Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) or Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO).
  • In lieu of a degree, four (4) years of experience in Cyberspace Operations (CO).
  • Experience in adult learning with an emphasis on providing instruction to large classes.
  • US Military instructor certification or designation is highly desirable (e.g., teaching certificate, certified professional instructor, master training specialist, adjunct faculty certification, etc.).
  • Encryption technologies (Symmetric/Asymmetric, Hashes, Checksums)
  • IDS/IPS (Active vs. Passive, Topologies)
  • Analysis tools (Advanced Level), Wireshark, Snort (Snort signatures and recognize snort triggers)
  • Exploitation Techniques and Recognition in Packet Captures using Wireshark to recognize exploits against commonly exploited ports and common exploit signatures (KAHT, lsass, SADMIN)
  • Knowledge of phishing techniques, road apple, drive‑by downloads
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a CND analyst
  • Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is desired.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
