Job summary

Interplay Learning in the United States seeks an experienced Instructor/Trainer for in-person, instructor-led training in crane, rigging, and industrial maintenance. You will bridge 3D simulations with real-world mastery and mentor learners across multiple client sites.

The role requires frequent travel (2 hours from an International Airport, weekly assignments, 3–6 days away), and a two-month onboarding process before teaching independently.

Position: Instructor/Trainer

(In-person, Instructor-led training for Crane, Rigging and Industrial Maintenance)

Travel Required (must be based within 2 hours of an International Airport):

This is a full-time, salaried role delivering in person, instructor-led training for clients. This position requires frequent (weekly) travel outside of home-location requiring air travel that may extend to 3-6 days at a time, and occasionally longer. Will require out of state assignments, and may receive overseas assignments. Possess (or be able to obtain) and maintain a travel passport.

Instructors serve as company ambassadors and are expected to depart for assignments weekly (typically Sunday through Thursday/Friday).

ITI operates training centers in the following locations: Woodland, WA; Cleveland, OH; Memphis, TN; Lakeland, FL; Pasadena, TX. Some training sessions will be conducted out of our training centers and some will be onsite at client locations.

Experience Required:

Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a construction and/or industrial environment (preferably in the industries of our customer base) with a variety of crafts and team member roles, and 5 years of experience directly conducting, managing, or planning one of the following activity sets:

  • Rigging loads with cranes, inspecting rigging, signaling.
  • Operating, inspecting, and/or maintaining cranes.
  • Lift planning, directing lifts, lift plan review and safety/risk assessments of lifting activities.
  • Preferably with leadership role experience with training experience.

Previous training or adult education experience is not required for this role. Completion of a two-month onboarding process will be provided before teaching independently.

  • Deliver training services at various locations, including travel assignments that may require being away from home for 3-6 days at a time.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrates strong administrative accuracy, completing all required paperwork on time and to high standards.

Compliance & Onboarding:
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without stipulations and be residents of the United States.

  • Following the offer of employment, all roles will require a background check and a drug and alcohol test. Pay:

$85k-$95k + eligible for a quarterly bonus
