Job summary

Arkansas State University-Beebe invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, promotion-eligible, non-tenure-track Instructor of Computer Systems & Networking Technology (CSNT). You will teach IT courses such as Cisco Networking Academy CCNA, Network+, A+, and Linux+, while developing and updating curriculum to align with industry standards.

You will advise and mentor students, assess courses, and participate in service activities.

Qualifications

• Requires four-year degree or equivalent experience in related IT fields.
• Must complete Cisco Networking Academy CCNA trainings within six months to become a CCAI.
• Industry certifications and professional experience in networking are required.
• Curriculum development experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach CSNT courses including CCNA, Network+, A+, and Linux+.
• Develop and update curriculum to industry standards.
• Advise and mentor students as needed.
• Assess courses and implement improvements for student learning.
• Participate in departmental and institutional service activities.
