Job summary

Dermalogica in Chicago seeks an Instructor to train licensed skincare professionals across platforms and participate in regional/national events. You will deliver high-quality instruction on Dermalogica products, stay current with industry trends, and represent the brand at trade shows.

The role requires a skincare background, teaching passion, and ability to travel up to 30% with a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of hands-on spa/skincare experience.
• Willingness to travel at least 30% (overnight/weekend travel).
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Dermalogica products is a plus.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Dermalogica Learning Loft, 100 East Walton Place, Chicago, IL 60611.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom instruction on Dermalogica products and treatments in-person and via live-streaming.
• Support training requirements for in-salon, National Account, and Partnership Schools.
• Drive sales growth through interactive event support with Skin Centers and National Account partners.
• Provide professional treatments to prospective accounts, social media influencers, and long-lead press.
• Assist students in the Student Store to meet retail sales goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends and Dermalogica product offerings.
• Represent Dermalogica at internal and external events, conferences, and trade shows.

The expected base salary for this position is $65,000-$70,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This role is eligible for participation in our company bonus plan, rewarding personal performance and company results.
