Salary Details $300,000-$316,000

The Department of Emergency Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join our faculty as a Nocturnist. The Emergency Department manages more than 80,000 patient visits annually and serves as a regional referral center for trauma, critical care, stroke, cardiac emergencies, and complex tertiary care.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality emergency care during overnight shifts while contributing to the department’s mission of excellence in patient care, education, and academic development. Faculty members work collaboratively with emergency medicine residents, medical students, advanced practice providers (APPs), nursing staff, and multidisciplinary consultants in a fast-paced academic environment.
