Job summary

Solano Diversified Services, Inc. in the Vallejo/Fairfield area seeks a dedicated trainer to work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a dynamic, community-based day program.

You will train at the program site, in the community, and at employment sites, developing Person Centered Plans for participants. A sign-on bonus is offered and excellent benefits include health, dental, retirement, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have valid California driver license, access to personal vehicle, and auto insurance.
• Pass criminal clearance, physical, drug screen, and TB test.
• High school diploma or equivalent; experience with adults with IDD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Person Centered Individual Service Plans.
• Maintain ongoing data collection of participant objectives in their plans.
• Supervise community integration activities including work crews and field trips.
• Assist in transportation of participants to and from their homes to program via SDS Transportation Vans.
• Participate in Staff and Person Centered Planning Meetings.

Job description

Sign on Bonus for Active Employment:

$250 after 3 months, $250 after 6 months, and $500 after one year of employment

Position Description:

Train and supervise adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a dynamic, community-based day program in our Fairfield program. Provide training at program site, in the community and employment sites.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:

• Must have a valid California Drivers License, personal automobile for use on the job (Mileage Reimbursement), good DMV Record and auto insurance.

Education / Experience:

A high school education or equivalent is required. Previous experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred. AA/BA Degree Salary Differential.
