Bath Area Family YMCA in Brunswick, ME is seeking a Rock Steady Boxing Coach for the Parkinson’s Program. Under the Wellness Director, you will conduct safe, high-energy boxing classes that empower participants to improve health and wellbeing.
You will lead group fitness classes, maintain required certifications, and ensure safety. Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:30–3:00 PM, with a focus on inclusivity and motivation.

Under the direction of the Wellness Director, the Group Exercise Instructor is responsible for conducting safe, effective, and enjoyable exercise classes by providing leadership, up-to-date quality instruction and high energy motivation. The Group Exercise Instructor will work with people of all ages, and lead group fitness classes to motivate members to improve their overall health and wellbeing. As an instructor, you are passionate about health and wellness and enjoy empowering people to achieve their goals. You are energetic, self‑motivated and a natural teacher dedicated to helping others. Group Exercise Instructor will demonstrate excellence in ability and maintain a caring attitude at all times to provide quality programs and service while promoting the Bath Area Family YMCA mission. The popularity and size of the classes and number of persons who attain their individual goals will measure achievable results.
This position is required to be performed on the YMCA premises. Regular interaction with members and staff. Supervision received from the Wellness Director. May also take direction from senior staff.
