Job summary

The University of Arizona is seeking an Instructional Technology Professional II to provide comprehensive A/V support across Phoenix-area learning environments. You will troubleshoot issues, train faculty, and maintain equipment in multiple campus classrooms and labs.

Based at the Phoenix Bioscience Core HSEB building with travel to Scottsdale, Gilbert, and Chandler campuses. Requires Crestron/Extron familiarity and relevant certifications within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve A/V issues in a variety of learning environments.
• Respond to customer requests through ticketing and phone systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repair of instructional technology equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Assist in the installation and configuration of new hardware and software in classrooms and labs.
• Test equipment for functionality and compatibility with existing systems.
• Provide training sessions or one-on-one support to faculty and staff on effectively using instructional technology.
• Maintain records of equipment inventory and service logs.
• Document recurring issues and solutions to improve future response times.
• Actively research new solutions, techniques, and products available, while evaluating the current technology in classrooms.
