Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer and Trainer to analyze training needs, develop role-based programs, and deliver instruction for CFL personnel. You will create content spanning instructor-led training, computer-based modules, guides, lesson plans, quizzes and examinations.

• Four years of degree requirement may be substituted by relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Review performance data and feedback to identify training gaps.
• Create measurable learning objectives aligned with duties and procedures.
• Develop and maintain training content: ILT, e-learning, guides, quizzes and exams.

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Instructional Systems Designer and Trainer to join our team! In this role, you will get to analyze training needs, develop and maintain role-based training programs, and deliver instruction for personnel performing CFL roles.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conduct training needs analyses for personnel performing CFL roles to develop training requirements.
• Identify knowledge, skill, ability, experience, certification, and competency requirements by labor category and assigned role to develop standard and tailored training plans.
• Analyze performance data, proficiency-test results, audit findings, report deficiencies, rework, process changes, lessons learned, and supervisor feedback to identify training needs.
• Develop measurable learning objectives aligned with job duties, standard operating procedures, technical standards, and competency requirements.
• Work with existing forensics experts to create quality training content based on real-world experiences.
• Develop and maintain training content, including instructor-led and computer-based training, training guides, lesson plans, exercises, checklists, quizzes and examinations, schedules, training records, and study guides.
• Deliver instructor‑led training and facilitate workshops, seminars, demonstrations, and other training and teaching events.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• A bachelor's degree in instructional design, teaching, computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field. Four years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
• A minimum of five years of experience with instructional systems design and training.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range:

$35.96 - $62.93
