Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Instructional Support Specialist in the Chantilly/Reston area to support the delivery and evaluation of adult training programs, including enrollment, scheduling, classroom setup, and post-training analysis.

The role requires active TS/SCI with poly, a Bachelor’s degree, and 4+ years of related experience, with strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills to coordinate with senior management and instructor teams.

Qualifications

  • Must have an active TS/SCI with poly.
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 4+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years working with mission support.
  • Excellent facilitation skills that engage participants and students.
  • Manage complex relationships with stakeholders in an environment with short deadlines and high business impact.
  • Demonstrated experience using office productivity software.
  • Aptitude for accurate and detail-oriented work.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including ability to manage competing priorities for self and others, meet deadlines, and exercise good judgment.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills for providing customer service in a diverse academic environment, and for interacting with senior client management, client and adjunct faculty, and students.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to negotiate fairly and rationally, and exercise sound judgment under time pressure or in emotionally charged situations.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, compile, and analyze student training data and prepare reports for client.
  • Candidate should have knowledge of Kirkpatrick's Four Levels of Evaluation.
  • Identify and support opportunities to expand project scope beyond current deliverable and actively share information about clients' emerging support needs and trends with team members and management.

The Instructional Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting customer requirements for the client(s) and assisting with all aspects of adult training to include, but not limited to course enrollment, registration support, classroom management and scheduling, and post-training evaluation collection and analysis.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00
