Job summary

CSU Bakersfield's College of Social Sciences & Education invites applications for Instructional Student Assistant (ISA). These grading and support roles assist instructors across SSE courses, with 0–20 hours per week and semester-by-semester appointments, aligned with the needs of each course.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to assigned instructors in SSE by grading papers in a variety of courses, proctoring exams, or facilitating group work and discussions.
• Assist the instructor in lab/activity sessions, proctoring, and/or perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair in consultation with an appropriate faculty member.
• Department’s website management.

• Perform individual and/or group academic support
