Job summary

The Oxford Hills School District is seeking an Instructional Strategist/IEP Coordinator for grades 6-8. The role involves teamwork to evaluate and provide services in compliance with IDEA and Maine regulations.

The incumbent will support RtI/MTSS strategies, chair IEP meetings, and supervise staff while collaborating with administrators to improve classroom outcomes across multiple campuses.

Qualifications

• Maine certification in special education is required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• At least three years of successful teaching experience.
• Experience with IEP processes and teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, consult and provide evaluation/treatment services to school aged children.
• Perform assessments as part of the IEP team and provide consultation to staff.
• Ensure services meet IDEA 2004 requirements per Maine regulations.
• Support RtI/MTSS implementation and guide district pre-referral teams.
• Facilitate and chair IEP meetings and monitor special education timelines.
• Mentor staff, supervise educational technicians, and coordinate data collection.
