Qualifications

• Master’s degree in educational leadership, curriculum and instruction, or related field
• Minimum five (5) years of teaching experience
• Minimum five (5) years administrative experience in a school and/or district
• Minimum two (2) years of leadership of professional development in the area of curriculum and instruction
• California Administrative Services Credential
• California Driver’s License with evidence of insurability
• Doctoral degree in a relevant field is desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead development, coordination, and implementation of high quality instructional services
• Collaborate with agencies and organizations serving Monterey County students
• Oversee broad instructional programs and professional development initiatives
• Serve as instructional leader under the direction of the Superintendent
