Job summary

Poudre School District in Fort Collins, Colorado seeks a Paraprofessional Instructional K-12 for 2nd & 3rd grade at Werner Elementary. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM–3:45 PM, with a 6.5 hour day and 185 workdays per year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of related experience in an education setting is preferred.
• Experience working with students in a school setting is preferred.
• Criminal background check is required for hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher with instruction and reinforce learning in groups.
• Prepare classroom materials and assist with tests and attendance.
• Monitor students during breaks, lunch, field trips, and remote learning.
• Support administration with special projects and school functions.
• Attend in-services, meetings, IEPs, and parent conferences as needed.
• Administer state testing in small groups (TCAP).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
