Job summary

Applitrack on Campus is seeking a paraeducator to work with At-Risk students to help meet enrollment requirements for colleges and universities. You will support teachers by preparing materials, keeping records, and coordinating between school, home and community while maintaining daily schedules and attending staff development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 48 college hours.
• Experience working with children.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assists teachers in preparing, organizing, and/or assembling teaching materials.
• Assists teachers with record keeping.
• Assists teachers in preparation of bulletin board.
• Attends and participates in staff development programs.
• Maintains a daily working schedule as determined by the principal and teachers.
• Serves as a liaison between the school, home and community.
• Works with individuals and/or groups of students to reinforce skills being taught by the teachers.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Assists teacher with supervision of children in the classroom, cafeteria, and on the playground.
