Job summary

The position emphasizes collaboration, leadership in PLCs, and mentoring teachers to enhance practice and student achievement across campuses.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Texas teaching certificate.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of successful classroom experience.
• Leadership experience (e.g., campus lead teacher, team leader, department chair, curriculum writer).

Responsibilities

• Meets with teachers and teams to plan, analyze, personalize, design, apply, and evaluate student learning.
• Supports teachers in classroom management techniques and strategies.
• Co-teaching, modeling, observing and giving feedback to teachers.
• Develops teachers' capacity to meet diverse student populations.
• Analyzes student data to drive instructional planning.
• Models use of district curriculum/unit plans for instruction and assessments.
• Engages teachers in coaching cycles to achieve learning goals.
• Provides job-embedded professional learning for individual teachers and teams.
• Mentors teachers and supports transfer of best practices.
