Job summary

Henry County Schools is seeking an Instructional Effectiveness Facilitator (Title Funded) to join the Federal Programs/School division. The role reports to the Principal and participates in the school leadership team to drive continuous improvement.

The position emphasizes coaching, data-driven instruction, and collaboration with Title I teachers to raise student achievement with a focus on literacy and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Georgia Educator Certificate or district credentials.
• Master's level education preferred.
• Minimum of five years of certified teaching/education experience.

Position Title: Instructional Effectiveness Facilitator (Title Funded)

Essential Duties:

• Assist Principal and school leadership with implementation and evaluation of the continuous improvement process. Assist with linking program goals and CSIPs to the district vision and strategic direction.
• Coordinate and facilitate professional development and coaching support related to highly effective instruction to include, but not limited to, literacy, student agency and goal setting, learning engagement strategies, and academic acceleration.
• Provide instructional support to school staff through classroom observations, data analysis, modeling, coaching, and feedback.
• Work directly with school leadership to ensure school improvement efforts align with Henry's Plan of Action for Student Achievement.
• Model effective strategies, teach demonstration or collaborative lessons, and coach effective research-based reading instructional strategies in classrooms serving Title I students.
• Provide support, coordination, and facilitation for Title I co-teaching teams focusing on Title I students.
• Lead, coordinate, and train Title I teachers in giving and analyzing content-specific assessments (diagnostic, formative, and summative) and facilitate the implementation of differentiated instruction based upon the data to increase student achievement for Title I students.
• Serve as a resource for teachers in Title I schools by researching and recommending next steps, strategies, ideas, and/or materials that can enhance instruction and support Title I students that are failing or at risk of not meeting academic standards.
• Monitor Title I student progress through the identification and support of specific areas of need.
• Seek ways to collaborate with administration and teachers in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the instructional goals of the school's continuous improvement plan.
• Serve on school leadership team.
• Attend district trainings and meetings as required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Georgia Educator Certificate or credentials required by the district; Master's level preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of successful certified level experience in education, preferred.
• Ability to work well with students, parents, staff, and the community.
• Exceptional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, excellent character, and strong professional reputation.
• Must abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
• Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work. Must be able to be present at the physical worksite.
• Must perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
• Must perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to properly and consistently supervise students, particularly during emergency situations.
• Vision, hearing, written, and verbal communications are essential factors in performing required tasks.
