Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking an Instructional Designer V in Seattle to partner with ID/SMEs/PMs to translate learning designs into polished media assets across formats. The role covers storyboard, asset creation, video production, animation, and delivery optimized for web and LMS platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Film/Video Production, or related field (or equivalent professional experience with a strong portfolio).
• 3+ years multimedia production experience (motion design, video).
• 3+ years in editing or media development for training content.
• 3+ years end-to-end video production (scripting, filming/screen capture, editing, post-production).
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and authoring tools.
• Experience building interactive e-learning using Storyline/Rise and Captivate.
• Ability to visually communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage full media production pipeline: storyboarding, asset creation, shooting/editing audio, animation, final delivery for web/LMS.
• Apply visual design principles to create engaging learning experiences for a global audience.
• Develop interactive web-based learning using authoring tools and front-end technologies where needed.
• Use analytics and A/B testing to refine media approaches.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver assets on time.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate production timelines and output quality.

Description

Summary

• Partner with Instructional Designers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and Program Managers to translate learning designs into polished, production-ready media assets across multiple formats.
• Design and produce high-quality multimedia content including motion graphics, explainer videos, interactive e-learning modules, infographics, illustrations, and animated simulations
• Operate the full media production pipeline: storyboarding, asset creation, video shooting and editing, audio production, animation, and final delivery in formats optimized for web and LMS platforms
• Apply strong visual design principles (typography, colour theory, layout, accessibility) to create engaging learning experiences for a diverse, global audience.
• Develop interactive web-based learning experiences using authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate) and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) where needed.
• Use learner analytics, feedback, and A/B testing to refine media approaches and continuously raise production quality.
• Manage a personal production queue of multiple concurrent projects, tracking progress against sprint commitments and delivering assets on time and within scope.
• Apply AI-assisted creative tools and workflows (e.g. generative imagery, automated captioning, AI video editing) to accelerate production timelines and enhance output quality.

Must-Have Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Film/Video Production, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience with a strong portfolio)
• 3+ years of experience in multimedia production, motion design, video
• 3+ editing, or a related media development role for training content.
• 3+ Experience producing video content end-to-end: scripting,
• 3+ filming/screen capture, editing, and post-production
• Proficiency with industry-standard creative tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Experience building interactive e-learning using authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate)
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts visually to diverse audiences
• Experience managing multiple concurrent production projects to deadline
• Portfolio demonstrating a range of learning media outputs (video, animation, interactive, graphic design)
• U.S. work authorization meeting Export Control requirements (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, Green Card holder, Refugee, or Asylee)

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with motion graphics and animation workflows (After Effects, Lottie, etc.)
• 3D modelling experience (Blender, 3DS Max, Maya, etc.)
• Experience with LMS publishing, SCORM/xAPI packaging, and platform-specific media requirements
• Knowledge of AI-powered creative tools (generative imagery, automated video editing, AI captioning)
• Experience with front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for custom interactive content
