Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to develop engaging online and instructor-led training content. The role partners with subject matter experts and management to design, deliver, and manage projects from planning through completion, in a remote, 6-month, part-time capacity.

The ideal candidate brings instructional design expertise, LMS administration experience, and strong writing skills. Proficiency with ISpring, Articulate Storyline, and Adobe Captivate is preferred to produce

• Create videos, modules, documents, graphics, and podcasts.
• Develop templates for storing and delivering content.
• Collaborate with management to deploy new training technologies.
• Provide instructional design and multimedia design consultation.
• Manage multimedia studio equipment.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and company policies.

Title: Instructional Designer

Mode: Remote

Duration: 6 Month

Part Time: Will be 20-25 hours weekly

Job Summary:

Seeking a Learning Experience Designer to develop engaging learning content for online and instructor-led training. The role partners with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and management to design, enhance, and deliver educational materials while managing projects from planning through completion.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Instructional design/learning content development experience
• LMS administration and user management
• Project management experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (ISpring, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate)

Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, publish, update, and maintain digital training materials and assets.
• Create content using instructional design methodologies, including storyboarding, scripting, narrating, recording, and graphic design.
• Convert instructor-led training (ILT) into engaging computer-based training and webinars.
• Produce video, eLearning modules, documents, graphics, and podcasts.
• Develop templates and infrastructure for storing and delivering learning content.
• Partner with management to deploy new training technologies.
• Provide instructional design and multimedia design consultation.
• Manage multimedia studio and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, company policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or related field.
• Proven experience in instructional design and content writing.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of multimedia design and development is a plus.
