Job summary

Chi-Chack LLC in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an Instructional Designer with multimedia expertise to support planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of Navy training course documents and related administrative tasks.

The role requires creating training materials, lesson plans, student guides, and AI-assisted testing material while ensuring NAVEDTRA standards compliance and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Associates degree in an Instructional Design-related discipline with at least one year of experience in an education, training, or curriculum development role; or a High School Diploma or GED with at least five years of experience in training documentation and instructional management.
Experience with AI-assisted tools to support instructional design, data analysis, or content development.
Minimum of three years' experience using Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Develop training documentation and products to support new curriculum projects, revisions, and change functions.
Create and validate measurable learning objectives and associated materials per NAVEDTRA standards.
Design and develop Course Outlines of Instruction, Lesson Plans, Student Guides, and testing materials for various delivery modes.
