Job summary

Butler Community College invites applications for an Instructional Designer and Accessibility Specialist. You will support the Educational Technology team with accessibility compliance and assist the Instructional Designer in creating engaging, effective online courses in Butler’s Learning Management System (LMS).

This role requires expertise in instructional design, Universal Design for Learning, accessibility practices, and the ability to troubleshoot and train others.

Qualifications

• Experience applying instructional design principles to online courses.
• Experience with accessibility standards and Universal Design for Learning.
• Experience with Canvas or similar LMS.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and troubleshoot.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support accessibility compliance in online courses.
• Collaborate with instructors and the Educational Technology team.
• Troubleshoot LMS issues and provide training.
• Contribute to innovative projects to enhance online learning.
