Team Carney, Inc. is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer for a remote, full-time role supporting a Federal client. You will help modernize USPTO training curricula by writing storyboards, scripts, and interactive assessments across 25 modules.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in instructional design, a Bachelor's in a relevant field, and strong technical writing skills, with preference for government contracting and USPTO/patent program experience.

Work Schedule and Location

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

The Instructional Designer will be a core member of a dynamic team responsible for the comprehensive modernization of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) training curriculum. You will collaborate within the development teams to write storyboards, scripts, and interactive assessments for the 25 target eLearning modules based on the redesigned curriculum.

What You Bring to the Table - Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, or English.
• Strong technical writing capabilities.
• Experience turning highly technical, legal, or procedural regulatory documents into digestible course flow.
