Job summary

Nmble Hiring Solutions is seeking an experienced Freelance Instructional Designer to support a healthcare education initiative on a contract basis. You’ll translate complex clinical or technical content into engaging learning experiences for healthcare professionals.

You’ll collaborate with subject-matter experts and a small project team to design high-quality materials, apply ADDIE/SAM learning models, and ensure clear learning outcomes and practical application.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Instructional Designer (freelance or contract preferred).
• Experience in healthcare, medical, or professional education is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Comfortable working with SMEs and ambiguous or evolving content.
• Portfolio or examples of relevant work.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop instructional content for adult learners (e.g. eLearning modules, blended learning, facilitator guides, assessments).
• Translate complex subject matter into clear, learner-centric experiences.
