Job summary

Benchmark Education Company is seeking an Instructional Design & Training Specialist to advance Spanish literacy, dual language, and cross-linguistic transfer initiatives. The role collaborates with publishers, editors, authors, and consultants to shape content and pedagogy.

You will help design new products, develop scopes/sequences, prototype components, and support district/state submissions. This position is remote within the US and involves product trainings for Spanish language materials.

Qualifications

• Define and implement research-based pedagogical approaches for Spanish literacy, Dual Language, and Cross Linguistic Transfer decisions.
• Collaborate with content developers, authors, and consultants to conceptualize new products and develop program matrices and scope and sequences based on ELA, ELD and content standards.
• Attend Content Development working meetings to support the conceptualization and prototyping of all new components.
• Develop scope and sequences, working with content developers and outside consultants as needed.
• Create new product prototypes and provide feedback on prototypes developed by others.

Responsibilities

• Participate in district and state submissions by writing and/or reviewing RFP responses to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness of responses.
• Participate in product launch meetings, scrums, and RFP weekly meetings.
• Work with the Director, Instructional Design and Training, to create product training scripts for Spanish core and supplemental products.
