Job summary

HCSC in Chicago is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to design and build engaging learning experiences that translate learning strategies into scalable solutions. You will lead development using the Articulate suite and Vyond, ensuring input from SMEs and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.

The role emphasizes alignment to enterprise standards, real-world application, and impactful learner engagement, with a focus on professional development planning and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in instructional design, performance consulting, and/or development.
• OR 6 years of experience in instructional design, performance consulting, and/or development.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and emerging instructional design trends.
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructor-led and eLearning design.
• Effective communication in visual, verbal, and written form.
• Technical aptitude and analytical skill set.
• Strong inductive and deductive reasoning.
• Ability to work with multiple internal and external customers and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality learning solutions translating strategies into engaging experiences.
• Own development lifecycle with strong instructional design and technical development (Articulate, Vyond).
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure quality and alignment to standards.
