Job summary

Katy ISD is seeking a qualified Coordinator - Instructional/Title 1 at Morton Ranch Junior High in Katy, Texas. The role reports to the Principal and coordinates campus instructional activities, MTSS, mentor programs, and staff development to support student success.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree and administrative certification preferred, with at least three years of classroom leadership experience and demonstrated ability to work with teachers, parents and the community.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred for leadership roles.
• Principal or Mid-Management Certification preferred.
• Minimum of three years successful classroom experience.
• Proven leadership skills to coordinate campus programs.
• Ability to work with staff, parents, and students.

Responsibilities

• Serve in MTSS and At-Risk Coordinator roles.
• Coordinate mentor program.
• Assist with campus maintenance and appearance.
• Assist with assessment coordination.
• Assist with campus staff development.
• Analyze assessment data to inform instruction.
• Support teachers in curriculum delivery and instructional strategies.
• Plan for learning with teams.
• Interview prospective applicants for the campus.
• Attend meetings and assist with event organization.
• Liaise between school and community.
