Job summary

Easterseals of Chicagoland and Greater Rockford seeks an Instructional Coordinator to lead comprehensive education and disabilities services across Head Start/Early Head Start programs in Chicago and suburbs. You will coach staff, coordinate professional development, and ensure evidence-based practices are implemented for strong teacher-child interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• Gateways ECE Level 5 certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of early childhood classroom experience.
• Minimum 3 years of administrative, supervisory, or coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Early Learning staff to ensure high-quality education and disabilities services.
• Support Head Start/Early Head Start enrollment targets, including children with disabilities.
• Supervise Instructional Coaches and Preschool for All teachers; develop PD plans.
• Plan based on analysis of child and program outcomes to improve quality.
• Facilitate regular meetings and ensure timely data entry in Child Plus and GOLD.
