Job summary

Denver Public Schools is seeking a dedicated professional learning lead to design and facilitate district-wide professional learning communities for teachers and leaders. You will specialize in a content area aligned with Culturally Responsive Education and CRE district vision.

In partnership with the academics team, you will analyze district and classroom data, model culturally sustaining practices, coach teacher leaders, and support curriculum adoption to improve student outcomes in an urban

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Four years teaching experience in relevant subject area with at least two years coaching other teachers.
• Experience in urban districts with Multilingual Learners.
• CDE Teaching License.
• Commitment to racial and educational excellence and equity.

Responsibilities

• Develops and facilitates district-wide professional learning cycles.
• Models culturally sustaining practices for teacher leaders.
• Analyzes district data and informs school support.
• Collaborates to achieve actionable results at the student level.
