Job summary

SESI is seeking an Academic Coordinator to develop, implement, and evaluate instructional programs for K-12 students with unique needs in Albany, GA. The role emphasizes collaboration with educators, administrators, and families to align curricula with state standards and improve outcomes.

The successful candidate will lead professional development, instructional coaching, and data-driven planning, ensuring inclusive materials and effective use of instructional technology across classrooms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning required.
• Experience working with students in a school setting is preferred.
• MA degree preferred; Education Leadership Cert or Principal Cert to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and revise curriculum materials to align with state standards and educational best practices.
• Provide one-on-one and group coaching to teachers to enhance instructional practices.
• Plan, organize, and facilitate professional development workshops and training sessions.
• Analyze student performance data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and stakeholders to support school improvement initiatives.
• Manage budget allocations for instructional programs and resources.
