Job summary

Amergis in Chula Vista, CA, is seeking an Instructional Assistant/Student Attendant for a contract, part-time position in a school setting. You will support students requiring instructional or behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education team.

The role may include assisting with personal, mobility and therapeutic care needs as determined by health professionals. Applicants must meet requirements and be at least 18 years old; CPR may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
