Job summary

Jordan School District is seeking a part-time assistant to work with special needs students. The position is 25 hours per week and requires completing Basic Training within one week of hire.

Additional 40 hours of training can enable progression to lane 5, with training due within six months of hire. Lane 4 Step 1 pays $21.33 per hour, as outlined in the Salary Schedules. Effective July 1, 2026.

WORKING WITH SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS

Must complete Basic Training (5 hours) provided by JSD Special Education Department. Training must be completed within one week of hire as a condition of employment.

Additional 40 hours of training is available through the Special Education department allowing the employee to increase to lane 5 upon completion.

Training must be completed within six (6) months from hire date as a condition of employment.

Effective July 1, 2026
