Job summary

Jordan District is seeking an Instructional Assistant Self Contained I PT at Herriman High for the 2026-2027 school year. The role starts at Lane 4 Step 1 ($21.33/hour) with required training through the Special Education Department, to be completed within one week of hire.

Additional 40 hours of training may advance to lane 5 within six months of hire. The position is part-time, located at Herriman High, beginning in the 2026-2027 school year, with the district providing the necessary training

Qualifications

• Must complete Basic Training (5 hours) provided by JSD Special Education Department.
• Training must be completed within one week of hire as a condition of employment.
• Additional 40 hours of training is available through the Special Education department allowing the employee to increase to lane 5 upon completion.
• Training must be completed within six (6) months from hire date as a condition of employment.
