Position: Instructional Assistant - Pike High School Learning Center

Responsibilities include:

1. Frequent contact and follow-up with students assigned to the Learning Center (Grades 9-12)
2. Monitoring student progress and attendance concerns
3. Responding to questions regarding Canvas, attendance, deadlines, etc.
4. Overseeing Credit Recovery Classes in Edmentum
5. Refer questions to the assistant principal overseeing the Learning Center
6. Developing a troubleshooting guide for daily tasks
7. Identifying best practices for classroom learning and supervision
8. Documenting attendance procedures and academic progress measurement
9. Collaborating with Department Chairs and classroom teachers
10. Assisting with clerical work and office tasks
11. Supervising and monitoring student progress during classes
12. Maintaining accurate attendance records
13. Communicating effectively with teachers regarding student needs
14. Performing other duties as assigned
