Job summary

San Juan Unified School District is seeking an Elementary Instructional Assistant IIIs to support Severe/Emotionally Disturbed students at Skycrest Elementary. This part-time, permanent position runs for 9 months/year (206 days) with a 5-day work week.

Qualifications include experience with groups of children and coursework in child development; CBEST or college transcripts may be required. The role may require a California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children; experience working with impaired children or adults highly desirable; coursework in child development highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support ED and emotionally disturbed/delayed students in designated classes.
• Assist individual students and work with a Behaviorist as needed.
