Job summary

San Juan Unified School District in the Sacramento area seeks an Instructional Assistant I/II/III for Pasteur MS to support students with learning and behavioral needs. This is a part-time, 6-hour daily position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Pre-qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and CBEST or district proficiency test; a California driver license may be required within 30 days of hire. This role is linked to Calendar 18 postings.

Qualifications

• Must attach High School Diploma or equivalent and one document from list A or B.
• CBEST or IA Proficiency Test required regardless of education background.
• For Title I sites, alternative qualifications may apply including transcripts or A.A. degree.

Responsibilities

• Support ED students and students with learning or behavioral needs.
• Assist groups of children and collaborate with teachers.
• Possess or obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days if required.
