Job summary

San Juan Unified is seeking an Instructional Assistant II to support students in Resource, Learning Handicap, or Communicatively Handicap programs. You will run small groups and assist in large groups, both in Special Day Class settings and General Education, while supporting teacher needs.

Candidates should be able to work with diverse student populations and be prepared to obtain a California Class C Driver License if required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Resource, Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs.
• Ability to run small groups and assist in large groups to support classroom instruction.
• Willingness to obtain California Class C Driver License within 30 days where required.
