Vista Unified School District is seeking dependable people to join the After School Program. You will assist in the effective instruction of students and reinforce lessons in a classroom or learning center; to perform a variety of instructional and clerical duties; perform related duties as assigned.

Individuals may be hired for permanent or substitute positions, with opportunities to start working immediately and contribute to student success in a supportive school environment.

Competenze

• High school graduate with some paid or volunteer youth experience.
• Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent required at application.

Mansioni

• Assist in the effective instruction of students in the After School Program and reinforce lessons.
• Perform instructional and clerical duties as assigned.

Under the direction of an assigned Supervisor, assist in the effective instruction of students and reinforce lessons in the After School Program in a classroom or learning center; to perform a variety of instructional and clerical duties; perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High school graduate and some paid/volunteer experience working with youths in an organized setting.

Proof of a high school diploma or its equivalent to be submitted with completed application and meet one of the 3 requirements:

1. Completion of 2 years of study (48 semester units) at an institution of higher learning
2. an Associate's Degree or higher
3. pass a rigorous District-administered assessment that demonstrates the knowledge of and ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing and math
