Job summary

Pueblo School District No 60 in Colorado seeks an Educational Assistant - Instructional to support teachers in a classroom setting, supervise students, and help prepare materials. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ESSA Highly Qualified status required.
• Fingerprint-based background check required and must be cleared by HR.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Two years of higher education or related coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in classroom and resource spaces by supervising students individually and in small groups.
• Assist in large group activities such as drill work, reading aloud, and storytelling.
• Support students with classroom technology and instructional tools.
• Follow planned instruction and contribute to team meetings.
• Read to students, listen as they read, and participate in oral activities.
• Supervise safety during recess and lunch, and assist with attendance and record keeping.
