Job Description

The Kingdom East School District, Student Services, is seeking Instructional Assistants (IAs) to work in classrooms ranging from early childhood to middle school for children ages 5 to 14. Candidates should be energetic, enjoy working with children, and be part of a school community. IAs will provide care and support to children for growth and learning of academic, social, emotional, and behavioral skills. Ideal candidates have experience serving children with special learning needs or who need support acquiring independent educational skills. They will work closely with classroom teachers and/or special education case managers under the direction of the school administrator and the Director of Student Services, supporting specialized instruction and other supports as assigned.

Applicants must successfully complete the ParaPro assessment or hold a higher degree. Background check, including fingerprinting, is required upon employment.

Pay range: $17.21/hr – $23.57/hr.

Job Requirements
