Job summary

North Central Indiana Academy - NCIA is seeking an Instructional Aide to support classroom activities for students, including those with IEP/504 plans. The position offers up to 30 hours per week while school is in session.

You will help prepare materials, supervise during meals, provide 1:1 academic support weekly, manage online attendance/grades, assist with field trips, and help with daily school upkeep and sanitization.

Responsibilities

• Make new course copies and materials for students when needed.
• Provide supervision during breakfast/lunch times.
• Provide overall academic support and 1:1 time with each student weekly, including students with IEP/504s.
• File documents in designated areas for credit tracking, grades, attendance, etc.
• Assist with case management of online-only students to complete weekly check-ins and attendance and grade monitoring.
• Assist with activities, field trips, projects, etc.
• Assist with upkeep and sanitization of the school building (sanitizing desks, sweeping, dishes, etc.).
• Assist with grading assignments and tracking credits for the teacher.
