Job summary

North Central Indiana Academy (NCIA) in Bloomington (IN) is seeking an Instructional Aide to support students during the school term. The role offers up to 30 hours per week, assisting with materials, supervision during breakfast and lunch, and providing academic support and 1:1 time for students weekly.

The aide will file documents, monitor attendance and grades, help manage online student check-ins, assist with field trips, and support general classroom upkeep and sanitization.

Responsibilities

• Make new course copies and materials together for students when needed.
• Provide supervision during breakfast/lunch times.
• Provide overall academic support and 1:1 time with each student weekly, including students with IEP/504s.
• File documents in designated areas for credit tracking, grades, attendance, etc.
• Assist with case management of online-only students to complete weekly check-ins and attendance and grade monitoring.
• Assist with any activities, field trips, projects, etc.
• Assist as a team with any ongoing upkeep and sanitization of the school building. (sanitizing desks, sweeping, dishes, etc.)
• Assist with grading assignments and tracking credits for the teacher.
