Worcester Cultural Academy Charter Public School is seeking dedicated and culturally competent Instructional Aides to support K–5 classrooms. Working closely under the guidance of a lead teacher, the Instructional Aide will provide targeted instructional and behavioral support to students, particularly English Learners and students with IEPs. This is a unique opportunity to join a founding team at an innovative, student-centered charter school in Worcester.

Collaborate with classroom teachers to support and differentiate instruction.
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to reinforce learning.
Prepare culturally responsive instructional materials and lesson supports.
Supervise students in classrooms and common areas (hallways, cafeteria, playground).
Assist with grading, recordkeeping, and maintaining classroom displays.
Support arrival/dismissal and bus routines.
Attend staff meetings and participate in school committees.
Assist with implementing behavior plans and therapeutic regimens.
Help students with technology and assistive devices.
Monitor and stock teaching materials and supplies.
Use audiovisual and digital tools to enrich instruction.
Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and school leaders to support a positive classroom culture and student success.
Model and promote our school’s vision and core values, including anti-racism, student empowerment, and equity.
Associate’s degree or successful completion of a Massachusetts-endorsed assessment (ParaPro or WorkKeys).
Experience with diverse student populations, including English Learners and students with disabilities.
Knowledge of the IEP process and understanding of behavioral interventions (ABA experience preferred).
